Vulpess is an elusive assassin who is trained in the ancient arts. She hunts by detecting sound and smell of her prey through her sharp senses. Her hometown, Tokyo has been overrun by a mass infestation of demons called the Oni and she joins an unlikely group of warrior recruited by her Agency, the Right Hand as their operatives officer and the squad's head advisor.
